To clean your Engineered Timber flooring, use a pH neutral Hardwood Timber Floor Cleaner with a microfiber mop. Wipe any excess moisture off the floor immediately after cleaning; use a dry mop or clean towel. For best performance and appearance, immediately wipe up spills, foreign substances or water from wet feet.
Never use a steam mop, abrasive cleaners, steel wool, scouring powder, wax or polish on your flooring. Do not use ammonia-based cleaners, wax based products, detergents, bleach, polishes, abrasive cleaning soaps, steel wool, abrasive cloths, turps or kerosene.
Spills should be mopped up as they occur, and any leaks must be attended to immediately. Failure to attend to leaking pipes or water entering from outside your house will result in severe problems with your flooring.
Engineered Oak Flooring products are made from natural materials and may vary in colour, texture and natural occurring features from individual pieces and batches of the same species. Riverhill engineered oak flooring range will contain variation from board to board and job to job, and from the samples on display. The colour of your flooring may change over time with exposure to UV light.
